VFE’s goal is to help each individual tap into their full potential so that they can live a fully enhanced quality of life.
LIFE COACHING FOR VETERANS, FRIENDS, AND FAMILIES
There are close to 400,000 veterans in Colorado and 18.2 million veterans in the United States. These veterans, their friends, and their families face unique difficulties after leaving the armed forces. In 2019, there were more than 37,000 homeless veterans in the United States , and up to 15% of veterans suffer from PTSD.
Veterans & Friends Empowered, Inc. (VFE) will outreach 80 percent to veterans, and the other 20 percent will target the socially and economically disadvantaged, as well as COVID-19 displaced individuals.
Your tax-exempt donation and/or commitment can help us target individuals for life-coaching and other life transitional services. We can help curb homelessness, despair, and a myriad of veteran and community challenges by providing life coaching and life transition services.
ABOUT OUR LIFE COACHING
VFE will assist individuals by first helping them establish and set personal and professional goals. We will then create personalized and individual roadmaps to help individuals achieve their goals and overcome barriers.
Life coaching is a proven model that effectively helps individuals understand the internal obstacles that prevent them from success and wellbeing. In a comprehensive study on life coaching, among the main findings are:
- 99% of individuals that used a life coach were satisfied
- 96% said that they would use a life coach again
- Life coaching can improve work performance by 70%
VFE utilizes certified life coaches that are trained to help individuals upgrade their lives by identifying barriers. These life coaches are skilled in helping to motivate, rebuild, and provide emotional support.
